What is uptrading? As you know, uptrading was invented in 1014 at the Battle of Clontarf by the Viking Helgeland Kleinsaucer, who uptraded his extra axe for a sac of lady thumbs. Kleinsaucer traded something he didn’t need, for something he desperately craved, thereby conducting the very first uptrade in recorded history. What do we want? Like modern day Kleinsaucers, we want to uptrade with you. We’re starting with a pumpkin, which we’ll trade for something else, which we’ll then trade for something else…etc etc until we end up with a boat. No money. Just trades. What’s in it for you? Not only do you get whatever it is you get in the trade, you ALSO get to come on our boat with us! That’s right! If you trade with us, once our goal is realized, you will be invited to join us on our maiden voyage! Is there a time limit on this wacky idea of yours? Yes.
